Effective instructional programs pave the way for educational excellence for all students. Pairing this with responsive teaching to identify the strengths and needs of each child in each class. An instructional program should be routinely evaluated and necessary alterations in implementation should be made to best suit the learners at the time.

In my work student data including standardized test scores, classroom assessments as well as observational, anecdotal 'street data' play a chief role in moving our work forward. Data should be the launch for all actions. Data should be reviewed periodically, and disaggregated to determine whose needs we are best serving and to problem-solve until data shows we are best serving all.
